Resolution to Approve the 3400 Dexter Road Annexation, 4.308 Acres, 3400 Dexter Road
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this property from Scio Township into the City. The property is within the City's water and sewer service area, and the current use is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and comprehensive plan. Council action on the proposed R4B (Multiple-Family Dwelling District) zoning and site plan will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Scio and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, 3400 DA LLC is the owner of said property;
Whereas, It is the desire of 3400 DA LLC to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Public Act 279 of 1909 or Public Act 359 of 1947 of the State of Michigan, as amended;
Whereas, Toll Northeast V Corp, as authorized agent for 3400 DA LLC, has submitted a site plan that is currently under review by staff; and
Whereas, An R4B Zoning and Site Plan will be forwarded to City Council after action from the Planning Commission and completion of the annexation process;
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Scio, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor:
