Resolution to Approve the Malooley-Gordon Annexation, 1.05 Acres, 2410 Newport Road (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this property from Ann Arbor Township into the City. The property is within the City’s water and sewer service area, and the current use is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and master plan. Council action on the proposed R1A (Single-Family Residential District) zoning will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of October 17, 2017, recommended approval of the request.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Ann Arbor and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, Marc Malooley & Kathryn Gordon are owners of said property; and
Whereas, It is the desire of Marc Malooley & Kathryn Gordon to annex said territory into the City of Ann Arbor pursuant to the provisions of Public Act 279 of 1909 or Act 359 of 1947 of the State of Michigan, as amended;
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township of Ann Arbor, and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor:

LOT 14 BOWEN'S SUBDIVISION.
