Title
Resolution to Appropriate and Increase the FY 2025 Office of Sustainability and Innovations Climate Action Millage Expenditure Budget by $1,374,210.00 (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
In FY 2024, City Council approved the following resolutions, authorizing agreements to be paid from the Climate Action Millage:

R-23-453 Elevate Energy - Administration of the Residential Rebate Program

R-23-454 Walker-Miller Energy Services, LLC - Administration of the Home Energy Advisor Program

R-24-039 G.O. Williams & Associates, LLC - Circular Economy Planning and Stakeholder Engagement

R-24-071 Stantec Consulting Services Inc. - Geothermal Advisory and Design Services

R-24-084 Sesame Solar, Inc. - Mobile Nanogrid

Said resolutions, however, did not include the language/resolved clauses necessary to roll any unused budgets for those agreements forward for use in subsequent fiscal years causing the unused funds to fall into fund balance at the end of FY 2024; therefore, an appropriation of the unspent FY 2024 funding to the FY 2025 expenditure budget is necessary to fund these contracts/projects through completion.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding is available in the Climate Action Millage Fund Balance.
