Memorandum
Attached for your review and action is a resolution to approve Amendment 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Altura Solutions, LLC to add additional parks to the ongoing Parks ADA Compliance Assessment and Transition Plan in the amount of $9,942.50. Council approved Professional Services Agreement for $210,015.00 with Altura Solutions, LLC in February 2022 by Resolution R-22-020.
The original scope of services for the project asked the consultant to evaluate and assess all city-owned recreation facilities, community centers, community wide parks, neighborhood parks and natural areas. Five park properties were not included in the original scope of services. The five properties are: Bandemer Park, Burns Park, Island Park, Olson Park and Southeast Area Park.

Altura Solutions, LLC provided a proposal to perform additional assessments for these five parks for a fee of $9,942.50. The original contract amount was for $210,015.00 and if approved, the total contract amount would increase to $219,957.50.

Staff recommends approval of Amendment 1 to the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Altura Solutions, LLC in the amount of $9,942.50 to add the additional parks to the ongoing Parks ADA Compliance Assessment and Transition Plan. The Parks Advisory Commission recommended approval of this PSA at their March 21, 2023 meeting.
