City of Ann Arbor Election Commission Resolution to Establish Absent Voter Counting Boards and Receiving Boards for the Presidential Primary Election to be Held in the City of Ann Arbor on Tuesday, February 27, 2024

Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor Election Commission was informed that a Presidential Primary Election will be held in the City of Ann Arbor on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in all City wards; and
Whereas, The City Clerk’s Office has determined that Absent Voter Count Boards will be needed for the tabulation of absentee ballots on February 27, 2024;
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize up to five Absent Voter Counting Boards for the tabulation of absentee ballots of the February 27 Presidential Primary Election;
RESOLVED, That the Absent Voter Count Boards will be held at the Ann Arbor Election Headquarters, 3021 Miller Road; and
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize up to twenty Receiving Boards at the Election Headquarters on Election Night to receive precinct returns as required under MCL 168.679a.
