Memorandum
To obtain a charitable gaming license under Michigan law, a nonprofit organization is required to submit a resolution from its local governing body recognizing it as a community-based organization.

Creative Washtenaw is a 501(c)3 civic nonprofit agency that provides services, support and advocates for artists, creative workers, organizations, businesses, educational and government entities to ensure that Washtenaw County and the greater Ann Arbor Area remains a great place for all to create, live, work, learn, play and visit.

Passage of the attached resolution will allow Creative Washtenaw to hold a raffle on September 30th, 2024, at Washtenaw Community College, 4800 E Huron River Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. Passage of this resolution is required in order to obtain final approval from the Charitable Gaming Division of the Bureau of State Lottery for this event and any future events.
