RESOLUTION TO ADJUST DDA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S SALARY BASED ON ANNUAL 360 REVIEW

 

Body

Whereas, Public Act 57 of 2018 The Recodified Tax Increment Financing Act authorizes the DDA Board to hire and fix the compensation of an executive director and stipulates that the director shall serve at the pleasure of the Board, and shall be the chief executive officer of the Authority;                                          

 

Whereas, The DDA Board approved a resolution to hire Maura Thomson as Executive Director on January 17, 2024;

 

Whereas, The DDA Board authorized an effective date of hire the day following the approval of City Council;

 

Whereas, The City Council approved hiring Maura Thomson as the DDA’s Executive Director on January 22, 2024; 

 

Whereas, the DDA Board hired Rehmann to conduct a 360 annual review of the DDA Executive Director;

 

Whereas, the DDA Board received the DDA Executive Director 360 Evaluation Report at its February 5, 2025 meeting and the overall results indicated the Executive Director is exceeding expectations in most categories;

 

Whereas, The DDA Board has considered the review and approved that Ms. Thomson be provided with a compensation increase of 3% in her role as DDA Executive Director, retroactive to January 1, 2025;

 

RESOLVED, The DDA board approves a 3% compensation increase to Maura Thomson’s salary, retroactive to January 1,  2025.
