Memorandum
The attached resolution requests authorization for a three-year contract for services with Henry Ford Health System d/b/a Henry Ford Health ("Henry Ford Health"), not to exceed $30,000.00 per year, starting in January of 2023. In addition, the resolution seeks authorization for administrative approval of two (2) two-year renewal terms pursuant to the same terms and conditions.

Since 2017, Henry Ford Health has provided the City with on-site occupational medical surveillance testing services including annual audiograms, respirator user clearance and fit testing, tuberculosis testing and other services as required by Michigan Occupational Safety and Health regulations.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funds for this contract will be included in the FY23 Safety Unit budget.

Henry Ford Health complies with the requirements of the Non-Discrimination, Conflict of Interest, and Living Wage ordinances.

Whereas, In 2022, the City Safety Unit issued a request for proposal for qualified vendors and provided intent to award to Henry Ford Health pending City Council approval;

Whereas, Henry Ford Health has met the obligations of their previous contract successfully to date; and

Whereas, Henry Ford Health has enabled the City to meet it's legal and moral obligations to provide occupational testing and screening services to its employees in compliance with occupational health regulations;

RESOLVED, That Council approve a three-year contract with Henry Ford Health not to exceed $30,000.00 per year to perform on-site occupational medical surveillance services;
