Memorandum

This resolution will approve a development agreement between the City and Maven Development, the developer of a site-planned project to construct two new single-family homes with a garage between them, plus a detached garage with a second-story residential unit.

 

The zoning designation is C2B (Business Service District).

 

The development agreement specifies requirements associated with the approved 630 South Ashley Street Site Plan, including construction of a public storm manhole and contributing $1,875.00 to the City Parks and Recreation Services for improvements to nearby and community parks. The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of May 20, 2025, approved the associated Site Plan and recommended approval of this request.

Whereas, The 630 South Ashley Street Site Plan was approved by City Planning Commission on May 20, 2025 in order to develop three residential units and two garages; and

 

Whereas, A development agreement has been prepared to address construction of a public storm manhole and contributing $1,875.00 to the City Parks and Recreation Services for improvements to nearby and community parks;

 

RESOLVED, That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to sign the 630 South Ashley Street Development Agreement after approval by the City Administrator and City Attorney; and

 

RESOLVED, That the City Administrator is authorized to take all appropriate actions to implement this resolution.
