Attached for your approval, please find a resolution to approve Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Wade Trim Associates, Inc. (Wade Trim) in the amount of $18,770.00 for construction engineering and inspection, as well as post-construction project close-out activities for the State and Hill Streets Improvements Project.

In December 2021, the City entered into an agreement with Wade Trim for design engineering, permitting, and public engagement services for the State and Hill Streets Improvements Project for $449,034.00 (Resolution R-21-424). In March 2023, City Council approved an amendment for additional design engineering due to scope and design changes and for construction services including construction engineering and survey staking and layout, for $385,780.00 (Resolution R-23-095). In March 2024, City Council approved an amendment for additional construction engineering and inspection services for $521,399.00, bringing the total services contract amount with Wade Trim to $1,356,213.00.

This amendment would bring the total services amount to $1,374,983.00, and includes the actual hours worked on construction services and project close-out services in accordance with MDOT requirements.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding for this work is identified in the Capital Improvements Plan. The identified projects TR-SC-18-08 and TR-OT-22-03 funded by the Street, Bridge, Sidewalk Millage Fund; UT-WS-18-56 and UT-WS-16-30 funded by the Water Supply System Fund; and TR-OT-22-03 funded by the Major Streets Fund, in addition contributions will be made by the Stormwater Fund, and the Sewage Disposal Fund. Funding for the amendment is available within the project budget.
