Background: The DDA's current as-needed engineering services and construction engineering support contract is with Fishbeck. Fishbeck was selected by the DDA in 2021 following a Request for Proposal process.
Overview & Scope: This proposal is for engineering and parking consulting services for the FY27 parking structure repairs. The amount is based on project scope and estimated construction timeline. The construction budget allocated for the restoration work is $2,250,000.00 and includes concrete repairs, waterproofing, pavement markings, sealant, and masonry work at the First and Washington, Fourth and William, Ann Ashley and Library Lane parking structures. The Fishbeck proposal for this project is $150,500.00. Staff recommended approval.

Whereas, Annually the DDA undertakes necessary repairs to keep the parking facilities in good condition;
Whereas, Development and administration of annual maintenance and restoration work requires the work of engineers with expertise in parking structures;
Whereas, In December 2021, following a Request for Proposal process, the DDA Board selected Fishbeck to perform this work on an as needed basis;
Whereas, Fishbeck's cost proposal to develop and oversee the FY27 parking structure restoration work is $150,500.00 and there are adequate funds available in the Parking CIP budget;
RESOLVED, The DDA Board accepts the proposal from Fishbeck for $150,500.00 for engineering and parking consulting services related to the FY27 parking structure restoration as outlined in their proposal, with funds coming from the FY26 and FY27 Parking CIP fund.
RESOLVED, The DDA Board authorizes the DDA Executive Director to execute the required documents.
