Resolution to Approve the Carlberg Annexation, 0.17 Acres, 2501 Victoria Avenue (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this property from Pittsfield Township into the City. The property is within the City’s water and sewer service area, and the proposed use is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and master plan. Council action on the proposed R1C (Single-Family Dwelling District) zoning will be scheduled once the annexation process is complete.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of November 1, 2016, recommended approval of the request.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in Pittsfield Charter Township and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, Jean Carlberg and Bunyan Bryant are the owners of said property; and
Whereas, It is the desire of Ms. Carlberg and Mr. Bryant to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Act 359 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan, as amended;
Resolved, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Pittsfield, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:
Lot 34, Packard Hill Subdivision, part of the NE ¼ of Section 4, T3S, R6E, Pittsfield Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan; according to the plat thereof as recorded in Liber 6 of Plats, page 45, Washtenaw County Records.
