Memorandum
Attached for consideration is a resolution authorizing execution of a Grant Agreement Between the City of Ann Arbor and Community Mental Health Partnership of Southeast Michigan.
On December 16, 2024 City Council approved Resolution R-24-449 which allocated $1,000,000.00 in funding for negative or debilitating impacts at the local level due to the change in the federal government administration. City Council authorized $300,000.00 of that funding for Ann Arbor based support of substance use disorder (SUD) and Intervention via Resolution R-25-166 on May 19, 2025. The proposed Grant Agreement seeks to grant Community Health Partnership of Southeast Michigan (CMHPSM) the amount of $300,000.00 ("Grant Funds").
The proposed grant agreement incorporates requirements of Resolution R-25-166 including the requirement to ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of funded programs and reporting to detail specific outcomes and metrics of funded programs. City Administration and Community Health Partnership of Southeast Michigan will collaborate to provide an annual report to City Council.
