Title
Resolution to Approve the Purchase of Heavy Equipment/Truck Tires and Tire Repair Services from Tredroc Tire Services LLC (MiDeal; Not To Exceed $150,000.00 Annually)
Memorandum
The attached resolution authorizes the purchase of heavy equipment/truck tires and tire repair services in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00 per year from Tredroc Tire Services LLC (Tredroc) for FY20 and FY21, subject to the availability of funding in FY21.
Goodyear Tire was awarded contract #190000000369 under the State’s MiDeal cooperative purchasing program. All authorized Goodyear dealers in Michigan that signed dealer agreements with the State are approved vendors under that program. Tredroc has met State requirements and is an authorized dealer under the contract.
The Fleet and Facilities Unit spends approximately $150,000.00 annually on heavy equipment/truck tires and tire repair services to maintain the City’s Fleet and the City owned vehicles operated by Recycle Ann Arbor.
Budget and Fiscal Impact: Adequate funding for the purchase of heavy equipment/truck tires and tire repair services has been budgeted in the approved FY20 Fleet Services Operations and Maintenance Budget. Award of the FY21 purchase order would be subject to the availability of funds.
Tredroc complies with the City’s Conflict of Interest and Non-Discrimination Ordinances.
