Attached for your consideration is a resolution to approve Amendment Number One to the Professional Services Agreement between the City and Management Advisory Group LLC for Interim Human Resources and Labor Relations Director in the amount of $75,000.00. Management Advisory Group LLC has provided the Interim Human Resources and Labor Relations Director services since September 2023 under an existing professional services agreement in the amount of $75,000.00. The amendment of $75,000.00 increases the agreement to a total of $150,000.00. The search process is currently underway for a new Human Resources and Labor Relations Director. The amendment is necessary to continue services until a permanent Director is hired
Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding for the contract is available in the approved FY24 General Fund operations and maintenance budget due to position vacancies.

Whereas, Management Advisory Group LLC is uniquely qualified and the best source to provide Interim Human Resources and Labor Relations Director services to the City, having provided the services to the City since September 2023;
Whereas, The City has an existing professional services agreement with Management Advisory Group LLC for Interim Human Resources Director and Labor Relations services in the amount of $75,000.00;
Whereas, Management Advisory Group complies with the requirements of the City’s Non-Discrimination and Living Wage Ordinances; and
Whereas, Funding for services is available in the approved FY24 General Fund budget due to position vacancies;
RESOLVED, That City Council approve Amendment Number One to the Professional Services Agreement between the City and Management Advisory Group LLC for Interim Human Resources and Labor Relations Director to increase the total cost of the agreement to not exceed $150,000.00;
RESOLVED, That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to execute the contract after approval as to substance by the City Administrator and approval as to form by the City Attorney; and
RESOLVED, That the City Administrator be authorized to take all necessary actions to implement this resolution including execution of any changes or amendments that do not exceed the amounts authorized herein.
