Resolution to Accept a Water Main Easement at Country Village Condominium from Country Village Condominium Association (8 Votes Required)

Memorandum

This is an existing water main for which the City is now obtaining an easement. This easement is in standard form and is conveyed without cost to the City. 

 

Acceptance of this easement is recommended.

Whereas, Country Village Condominium Association administers the property commonly known as Country Village Condominium, described in Master Deed recorded in Liber 2529, Page 420 and amended in Liber 3060, page 377, Washtenaw County Records; and

 

Whereas, Country Village Condominium Association has signed a grant of easement for water mains and appurtenances, described as:

 

Commencing at the East 1/4 corner of Section 36, T2S, R5E, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan; thence S00°08’00”W 1026.50 feet along the East line of said Section and the centerline of Maple Road; thence S89°39’00”W 33.00 feet to the Northeast corner of COUNTRY VILLAGE, Washtenaw County Condominium Subdivision Plan Number 145 as recorded in Liber 2529, Pages 420 through 471 inclusive, Washtenaw County Records; thence S00°08’00”W 130.62 feet along the Westerly right-of-way line of Maple Road and the Easterly line of said COUNTRY VILLAGE to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along said right-of-way line and said Easterly line S00°08’00”W 40.00 feet; thence N89°52’00”W 17.45 feet; thence Westerly 153.11 feet along the arc of a 636.00 foot radius circular curve to the right, through a central angle of 13°47’36”, having a chord that bears N82°58’12”W 152.74 feet; thence Westerly 144.35 feet along the arc of a 596.00 foot radius circular curve to the left, through a central angle of 13°52’38”, having a chord that bears N83°00’43”W 144.00 feet; thence N89°57’02”W 152.07 feet; thence N05°50’33”W 53.36 feet; thence N00°21’00”W 78.28 feet; thence N89°39’00”E 40.00 feet along the Northerly line of said COUNTRY VILLAGE; thence S00°21’00”E 76.02 feet; thence S61°32’04”E 20.53 feet; thence S05°50’33”E 5.88 feet; thence S89°57’02”E 98.90 feet; thence Easterly 154.04 feet along the arc of a 636.00 foot radius circular curve to the right, through a central angle of 13°52’38”, having a chord that bears S83°00’43”E 153.67 feet; thence Easterly 143.48 feet along the arc of a 596.00 foot radius circular curve to the left, through a central angle of 13°47’36”, having a chord that bears S82°58’12”E 143.14 feet; thence S89°52’00”E 17.45 feet to the Point of Beginning.  Being a part of COUNTRY VILLAGE a Condominium, as recorded in Liber 2529, Pages 420 through 471 inclusive, Washtenaw County Records in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 36, T2S, R5E, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan and containing 22,609 square feet of land, more or less. 

 

RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accepts this grant of easement.
