Title

Resolution to Approve Extension of Support Agreement for Pure Storage from CDW Government, LLC ($232,349.40)

Memorandum

The attached resolution authorizes the extension of an existing agreement for support of the City’s Storage Area Network (SAN) from Pure Storage via CDW Government, LLC (“CDW”).

The SAN provides all storage for the City’s data centers and servers. The City is extending the agreement for the period February 2027 to February 2030.

Extension of the agreement for a longer term grants the City access to hardware upgrades to keep the equipment running optimally with the most current hardware. When the Pure SAN was purchased, a support agreement was part of that purchase until February 2027. We are extending the support on this hardware to match up with other equipment purchases made this year, so that all equipment is maintained for the same period of time.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: The FY2027 payment is available and planned for in the FY2027 Information Technology Services Unit budgets.  Funds will be planned and budgeted for in the FY2028 and FY2029 IT Fund Budgets.

This purchase was generated through Sourcewell for competitive procurement.
