All of the City’s signalized intersections utilize equipment manufactured by Eagle, which includes traffic signal heads and brackets, pedestrian signal heads and push buttons; as well as, controllers and cabinets that communicate with the City’s Traffic Signal operating systems, SCOOT (Split Cycle Offset Optimization Technique). The advantages of sole source supply include reduced inventory requirements, as well as the need to train technicians in the repair of only one type of product.
