On May 6, 2024, City Council passed Resolution R-24-150 approving the Professional Services Agreement between 4 LEADERS, LLC and the City of Ann Arbor for Interim Public Services Area Administrator (the Agreement) and appointing Sue McCormick as Interim Public Services Area Administrator.
Attached for your consideration is a resolution to approve Amendment Number 1 to the Agreement to provide for the appointed Interim Public Services Area Administrator, Sue McCormick, to continue in that position.
The search for a new Public Services Area Administrator is underway. This amendment will allow for Sue McCormick to continue to serve until the position is permanently filled and a new Public Services Area Administrator is appointed.
Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding for this amendment to the Agreement is available in the approved FY25 Public Services Area operations and maintenance budget due to position vacancies.
4 LEADERS, LLC complies with the requirements of the City’s non-discrimination and living wage ordinances.

Whereas, On May 6, 2024, City Council passed Resolution R-24-150 approving a Professional Services Agreement between 4 LEADERS, LLC and the City of Ann Arbor for Interim Public Services Area Administrator (the Agreement) and appointing Sue McCormick as Interim Public Services Area Administrator;
Whereas, The search for a new Public Services Area Administrator is in process but not yet complete;
Whereas, The City wishes to amend the Agreement to allow for Sue McCormick to continue as Interim Public Services Area Administrator;
Whereas, Funding for an amendment to the Agreement is available in the approved FY25 Public Services Area operations and maintenance budget due to position vacancies; and
Whereas, 4 LEADERS, LLC complies with the requirements of the City’s non-discrimination and living wage ordinances;
RESOLVED, That City Council approves Amendment Number 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between DBA 4 LEADERS, LLC and the City of Ann Arbor for Interim Public Services Area Administrator, which increases the contract amount by $70,000.00, for a total contract amount not to exceed $250,000.00 (Amendment);
RESOLVED, That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to sign the Amendment after approval as to substance by the City Administrator and approval as to form by the City Attorney; and
Resolved, That the City Administrator is authorized to take all appropriate actions to implement this resolution, including signing any necessary documents or sub- agreements, and terminating the Agreement as amended at his discretion.
