Resolution to Approve the 2080 South State Street Annexation, 1.199 Acres, 2080 South State Street
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this property from Pittsfield Township into the City. The property is within the City’s water and sewer service area, and the current use is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses, and master plan. Council action on the proposed Office zoning will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Pittsfield and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, Daniel E. Whisler and Seth Penchansky, as shareholders of Daniels and Zermack Associates, Inc., are the owners of said property; and
Whereas, It is the desire of Daniel E. Whisler and Seth Penchansky to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Public Act 279 of 1909 or Public Act 359 of 1947 of the State of Michigan, as amended;
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Pittsfield, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor:
A part of the Northeast 1/4 Corner of Section 5, Town 3 South, Range 6 East, Pittsfield Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan described as: Commencing at the Northeast Corner of said Section 5; thence along the North line of said Section 5, South 87°35’35” West (recorded as “West” and South 86°39’10” West) 182.53 feet to a point on the West line of South State Street as surveyed by McNamee, Porter, and Seeley, Survey #2434, recorded in Liber 1913, Page 368-369, Washtenaw County records; thence along said West line in the following (2) courses: 1) South 12°48’35” East 111.99 feet and 2) 145.90 feet along the arc of a 2824.79 foot radius curve to the right, said curve having a central angle of 2°57’34” and a chord which bears South 11°19’45” East 145.89 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along said West line 158.02 feet (recorded as 158.24 feet) in the arc of a 2824.79 foot radius curve to the right, said curve having a central angle of 3°12’18” and a chord which bears South 8°14’49” East 158.00 feet; thence South 87°42’44” West (recorded as South 89°38’00” West) 34371 feet; thence North 01°06’21” West 155.10 feet (recorded as North 02°02’ East 156.11 feet); thence North 87°20’42” East (recorded as South 89°42’00” East) 324.09 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 1.199 acres of land, more or less.
