City School Committee
Established by Council resolution R-186-4-89, approved April 6, 1989.

Purpose
To establish a more efficient and effective mechanism to resolve common issues and to develop and maintain a broad, joint cooperation agreement.

Special Qualifications for Appointment
Representatives from both governmental units.

Length of Terms
City Councilmembers and Board members are appointed for 1 year.
The City Administrator and the School Superintendent serve by virtue of office.

Meeting Times / Frequency
As-needed.

• 2 City Councilmembers
• 2 School Board Members
• The City Administrator (ex officio)
• The Superintendent of Schools (ex officio).
