Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for constructing and maintaining the storm sewer at 3135 S. State Street from Waterworks Plaza Condominium Association, a domestic nonprofit corporation.
The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.
Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, Waterworks Plaza Condominium Association, a domestic nonprofit corporation, is the owner in fee simple of property located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, as described in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 1648, page 553 recorded on May 5, 1978;
Whereas, Waterworks Plaza Condominium Association has delivered an easement for lands located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw to the City for storm drainage, to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:
LAND IN THE CITY OF ANN ARBOR, COUNTY OF WASHTENAW, STATE OF MICHIGAN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, FOR PURPOSES OF STORM SEWER EASEMENT.
A PARCEL OF LAND IN THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 9, TOWN 3 SOUTH, RANGE 6 EAST, CITY OF ANN ARBOR, WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN, AND MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED AS COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 9; THENCE S01°40’20”E 660.14 FEET ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID SECTION 9 AND THE CENTERLINE OF STATE STREET; THENCE N87°09’00”E 100.01 FEET TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF STATE STREET; THENCE S01°40’20”E 152.47 FEET ALONG THE EASTERLY LINE OF STATE STREET FOR THE POINT OF BEGINNING OF THIS EASEMENT DESCRIPTION; THENCE N78°50’40”E 11.11 FEET TO AN EASEMENT FOR AN OPEN STORM DRAINAGE CHANNEL, AS RECORDED IN LIBER 1765, PAGE 69, WAS...
