Title
Resolution to Approve the Hofmann Annexation, 0.52 Acre, 1643 and 1645 South State Street (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this property from Ann Arbor Township into the City. The property is within the City’s water and sewer service area. The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of August 16, 2011, recommended approval of the annexation request.

At its meeting of September 8, 2011, the City Planning Commission recommended denial of the proposed C3 (Fringe Commercial District) zoning, given the current use of the site, adjacent zoning and land uses, and the master plan recommendation for limited industrial use. City Council action on any zoning request will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.
