Resolution to Approve Fire Suppression and Alarm Fees in the Construction Fund within the Planning and Development Services Unit
Memorandum
Attached for your consideration and approval is a resolution authorizing fees for fire suppression and alarms in the construction fund.

The Ann Arbor Fire Department and the City's Construction Services have coordinated to transfer Fire Suppression plan reviews and installation inspections from the Fire Department to Building/Construction Services as required by the Stille-DeRossett-Hale Single State Construction Code Act, 1972 (PA 230).  With this transfer, it is necessary to formulate a fee schedule that would recover Construction Services' expenses and be competitive.

Staff is recommending that Council approve the fee changes.
