PROCLAMATION

      In Appreciation of      

Tom Stulberg and the Michigan Rugby Football Club

and

Anna Doud and the University of Michigan Women's Rugby Team

December 6, 2010

WHEREAS,      The Michigan Rugby Clubs have dedicated themselves to volunteering in the assistance of the Ann Arbor Parks through the Adopt-A-Park program; and

WHEREAS,      The Michigan Rugby Clubs have worked to improve Riverside Park by planting and maintaining trees, cleaning up the park, and assisting with decorative gardens; and

WHEREAS,      The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assistance of our parks.

NOW THEREFORE, I, John Hieftje, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Tom Stulberg and the Michigan Rugby Football Club and Anna Doud and the University of Michigan Women's Rugby Team on December 6th, 2010, in the City of Ann Arbor.
