Proclamation in Appreciation of Chuck Warpehoski and Nancy Shore November 4, 2010
Memorandum
WHEREAS, Chuck Warpehoski and Nancy Shore have dedicated themselves to volunteering in the assistance of the Ann Arbor Parks through the Adopt-A-Park program; and
WHEREAS, Chuck Warpehoski and Nancy Shore have worked to improve Winewood Thaler Park by organizing neighborhood events to remove invasive plants and clean up litter in the park; and
WHEREAS, Chuck Warpehoski and Nancy Shore have created a demonstration garden in the park to educate citizens about edible native plants; and
WHEREAS, The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assistance of our parks.
NOW THEREFORE, I, John Hieftje, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Chuck Warpehoski and Nancy Shore on November 4, 2010, in the City of Ann Arbor.
