Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for a water main from the Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor, a public body corporate organized and existing under the Michigan Revised School Code, for a water main constructed on the Pioneer High School property.
 
The construction of the water main was performed by the Public Schools of Ann Arbor at their expense, and passed all City inspections. The Schools are now desirous of granting an easement to the City for ongoing maintenance of the water main.
 
The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.
 
Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Body
Whereas, the Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor, a public body corporate organized and existing under the Michigan Revised School Code, is the owner in fee simple of real property located at 601 W. Stadium Boulevard in the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, commonly known as Pioneer High School.
 
Whereas, the Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor has delivered a permanent water main easement for lands located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw to the City, to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:
 
A 40 foot wide easement for water main being part of the SW 1/4 of Section 32, Town 2 South, Range 6 East, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan. The easement is 20 feet on each side of the following described centerlines and is subject to all easements and restrictions of record, if any:
 
40 FOOT WIDE WATER MAIN EASEMENT "A"
 
A 40 foot wide water main easement having a centerline described as follows:  Commencing at the center of Section 32, T2S, R6E, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan; thence S00°07'00"W 140.03 feet along the North and South 1/4 line of said Section and the centerline of South Main Street; thence S88°55'00"W 1119.48 feet along the Southerly line of a public utility easement as described in Liber 3145, Page 203, Washtenaw County Records and the Easterly extension thereof to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence S03°55'54"E 41.12 feet; thence S15°43'44"E 180.22 feet to the POINT OF TERMINATION.
 
40 FOOT WIDE WATER MAIN EASEMENT "B"
 
A 40 foot wide water main easement having a centerline described as follows:  Commencing at the center of Section 32, T2S, R6E, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan; thence S00°07'00"W 140.03 feet along the North and South 1/4 line of said Section and the centerline of South Main Street; thence S88°55'00"W 1386.65 feet along the Southerly line of a public utility easement as described in Liber 3145, Page 203, Washtenaw County Records and the Easterly extension thereof to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence S00°49'08"E 166.68 feet; thence S45°49'08"E 32.95 feet to the POINT OF TERMINATION.

RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accepts said grant of easement.
