Resolution to Approve a Purchase Order to Filetech Systems, Inc. for File System Relocation Services for the 15th Judicial District Court ($39,000.00)
Memorandum
This resolution seeks Council approval to issue a purchase order in an amount not to exceed Thirty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($39,000) to FileTech Systems, Inc. for the disassembly, relocation, reassembly, and installation of the Court’s high-density file system from the Washtenaw County Courthouse to the Ann Arbor Municipal Center.
FileTech Systems, Inc. was the original lowest/best vendor for the high-density file system and purposefully designed and installed the system to be dismantled and removed to another location should the need arise.
FileTech Systems, Inc. is a State of Michigan guaranteed minimum cost program participant.
The Court has budgeted appropriate funds for this expense.
FileTech Systems, Inc. received Living Wage and Contract Compliance approval on September 3, 2010.

Whereas, The 15th Judicial District Court will relocate from the Washtenaw County Courthouse to the Ann Arbor Municipal Center;
Whereas, Relocating the Court to the Ann Arbor Municipal Center will require the disassembly, relocation, reassembly and installation of the Court’s high-density file system from the Washtenaw County Courthouse to the Ann Arbor Municipal Center;
Whereas, FileTech Systems, Inc. is a State of Michigan guaranteed minimum cost program participant;
Whereas, FileTech Systems, Inc. was the original lowest cost and best vendor for the high-density file system and purposefully designed and installed the system to be relocated;
Whereas FileTech Systems, Inc. is also familiar with Court operations, general security and file security requirements;
