Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for Sanitary Sewer Utilities Systems from Pinelake Village Cooperative, a Michigan non-profit corporation, related to construction being done on the Cooperative’s property pursuant to an approved site plan.

The City already holds an easement for the existing sanitary sewer lines. This grant of easement is for the new additions of lines made necessary by the renovation project.

The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.

Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, Pinelake Village Cooperative, a Michigan non-profit corporation, is the owner in fee simple of property commonly known as 2502 Adrienne Drive, located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, as described in the Warranty Deed recorded in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 1533, page 174 on December 8, 1975;

Whereas, The bylaws of Pinelake Village Cooperative authorize the President of the Corporation to have all the general duties and powers which are usually vested in the office of president of a corporation, which include the power to convey an interest in real property;

Whereas, The site plan of Pinelake Village Cooperative requires the granting of an easement to the City, and the corporation has agreed to this requirement;

Whereas, Pinelake Village Cooperative, a Michigan non-profit corporation, has delivered a Sanitary Sewer Utilities Systems easement for lands located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw to the City, to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:
