Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for Public Utilities from the Racquet Club, a Michigan non-profit corporation, for a fire hydrant and connecting water main previously constructed by the Racquet Club.  
 
According to the terms of their site plan, the Racquet Club agreed to give the City an easement as part of their approved project.
 
The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.  Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, Racquet Club, a Michigan non-profit corporation, is the owner in fee simple of property commonly known as 3010 Hickory Lane, located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, as described in the Warranty Deed recorded in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 1393, page 432 recorded on April 21, 1972;
 
Whereas, Racquet Club has delivered a Public Utilities easement for lands located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan to the City, to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:
 
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Lot 50, RIVERSIDE HILLS SUBDIVISION NO. 2, as recorded in Liber 17 of Plats, Pages 25 & 26, Washtenaw County Records, Washtenaw County, Michigan; thence N06°54'35"E 30.47 feet along the West line of said Lot and the East Right-of-Way line of Hickory Lane;  Thence S38°13'22"E 36.80 feet; Thence S83°13'22"E 64.95 feet; Thence N85°31'38"E 47.29 feet; Thence N74°16'38"E 105.00 feet; Thence S15°43'22"E 40.00 feet; Thence S74°16'38"W 108.94 feet; Thence S85°31'38"W 55.17 feet; Thence N83°13'22"W 85.45 feet; Thence N38°13'22"W 13.55 feet; Thence N06°54'35"E 25.96 feet along the West line of Lot 49 of said RIVERSIDE HILLS SUBDIVISION NO. 2 and said East Right-of-Way Line of Hickory Lane to the Place of Beginning.
 
RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accepts said grant of easement.
