Solid Waste Regulations for Fall Leaves Drop-off

Attached for your review is a proposed amendment to the Solid Waste Regulations as enabled by Section 2:10 of Chapter 26 of the City Code.   These regulations shall take effect 30 days after being filed with the city clerk unless modified or disapproved by the city council. These will be filed with the city clerk on August 17, 2010.  
 
This amendment will allow residents or contractors removing leaves from residential properties in the City of Ann Arbor to drop-off fall leaves at no charge.  The City will provide an online form for residents to download and fill out certifying that the material comes from a property within city limits.  These forms will be collected at the MRF scalehouse.
