Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for permanent drainage from Louis E. Betke, a single man, by Power of Attorney Michael L. Betke, for the Newport Creek Culvert construction project.

The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City. Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, Louis E. Betke, a single man, by Power of Attorney Michael L. Betke, is the owner in fee simple of property commonly known as 2562 Newport Road, located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, as described in the Warranty Deed recorded in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 944, page 631 recorded on April 7, 1961;

Whereas, Louis E. Betke, by Power of Attorney Michael L. Betke has delivered a permanent drainage easement for lands located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw to the City, to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:

Located in the NE ¼ of Section 18, T2S, R6E, Township of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan and described as follows:

Commencing at the East ¼ corner of Section 18, T2S, R6E, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, thence S 87°59'09" W 1327.84 feet along the E-W ¼ line of said Section 18 and the Centerline of Bird Road (66 feet wide); thence northerly along the centerline of Newport Road (66 feet wide) as monumented in the following two courses:
N 21°45'51" W 340.67 feet; N 27°23'51" W 398.86 feet; thence N 62°36'09" E 33.00 feet to the Point of Beginning;
thence N 27°23'51" W 49.53 feet along the easterly right-of-way line of said Newport...
