Resolution to Approve the Ann Arbor Guest House Annexation, 4.77 Acres, 2000 Dhu Varren (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 9 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
This resolution is to approve annexation of the property located at 2000 Dhu Varren into the City. The property is within the City's water and sewer service area and is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and master plan. Council action on the proposed R4A (Multiple-Family Dwelling) zoning will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of April 6, 2010, recommended approval of the request.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Ann Arbor and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, The Church of God in Christ is the owner of said property; and
Whereas, It is the desire of The Church of God in Christ to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Act 359 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan for the year 1947, as amended;
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township of Ann Arbor and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:
"OLD SID - I 09-016-001-00 16-1 BEG AT NE COR OF SEC, TH S 02 DEG 49' 30''W 808.22 FT IN E LINE OF SEC, TH NW'LY 874.71 FT IN ARC OF CURVE LEFT OF RADIUS 3869.72 FT , THE CHORD BEARS N 32 DEG 16'51'' W 872.85 FT, TH N 38 DEG 45' 20" W 88.87 FT, TH E561.61 FT IN N LINE OF SEC TO PL OF BEG, BEING PART OF NE ¼ OF NE ¼ SEC 16 T2S-R6E 4.77 AC."
