Memorandum

PROCLAMATION

In Appreciation of

Praveena and Madhan Ramaswami

March 1, 2010

WHEREAS,      Praveena and Madhan Ramaswami have dedicated themselves to volunteering in the assistance of the Ann Arbor Parks through the Adopt-A-Park program; and

WHEREAS,      Praveena and Madhan Ramaswami have worked to improve Bromley Park by organizing biannual events to remove invasive plants, plant flowers, and clean up the park; and

WHEREAS,      The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assistance of our parks.

NOW THEREFORE, I, John Hieftje, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Praveena and Madhan Ramaswami on March 1, 2010, in the City of Ann Arbor.
