Resolution to Establish Event to Recognize Citizen Volunteers
Body
Whereas, Citizens of Ann Arbor contribute countless hours supporting many efforts for the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, Citizens serve the City as volunteers on over 50 boards, commissions, task forces and advisory committees;
Whereas, Citizens of Ann Arbor also volunteer for programs and services provided across the City in a variety of capacities; and
Whereas, City Council would like to recognize these volunteers for their time and efforts to the community, for the betterment of the community;
RESOLVED, That City Administrator coordinate an annual event to recognize, promote and thank the many volunteers who serve our community.
