Resolution Accepting Pedestrian Access Easement from ALDI INC. (MICHIGAN) (2340 Dexter Avenue) (8 Votes Required)
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for pedestrian access from ALDI INC. (MICHIGAN), a Michigan corporation, for the construction and maintenance of a sidewalk along the west side of Dexter Avenue.
The easement is in standard form and conveyed at no cost to the City.
Acceptance of the grant of easement is recommended.

Whereas, ALDI INC. (MICHIGAN), a Michigan corporation, is the owner in fee simple of property located in the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, as described in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 4708, Page 768, recorded December 3, 2008; and
Whereas, Action By Written Consent of the Directors of ALDI INC. (MICHIGAN), dated June 23, 2003 authorizes the execution and delivery of a perpetual easement to the City for the purpose of pedestrian access; and
Whereas, ALDI INC. (MICHIGAN), has delivered an easement for pedestrian access to encumber and run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:
Proposed 5.5' wide Public Sidewalk Easement:
