Resolution to Provide a Report on the Sixty-Eight Parcel of Land in the Proposed TC1 Zoning District including Ownership and Valuation Information

Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor is considering initiating the rezoning of sixty-eight parcels of land not owned by the City to the newly created TC1 Zoning District;
Whereas, The value of these parcels will be increased by this city-initiated action;
Whereas, Information on these parcels is publicly available at the city, county, and state level;
Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor and the community benefit by enhancing the image that local government operates in an ethical and transparent manner; and
RESOLVED; That the City of Ann Arbor compile a report of the individuals with an ownership interest in these sixty-eight parcels, and including, but not limited to, the entity name on the City Assessor's record, the Registered Agent with the State of Michigan and the ownership information available from the County Register of Deeds; and
RESOLVED; That the City of Ann Arbor contract with a Commercial Real Estate Broker to determine the approximate amount of increase in value for each of these parcels at the date of being rezoned to TC1;
RESOLVED; That the City of Ann Arbor publish this report by March 21, 2022.
