Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for the construction and maintenance of public utilities from the Organ Procurement Agency of Michigan, a Michigan non-profit corporation.
The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.
Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, Organ Procurement Agency of Michigan, a Michigan non-profit corporation, also known as Gift of Life of Michigan, is the fee simple owner of property located in the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan as described in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 4615, Page 69, recorded March 15, 2007;
Whereas, A Resolution of the Governing Board of Directors of Organ Procurement Agency of Michigan, dated October 15, 2009, authorized the delivery of a perpetual easement to the City for public utilities; and
Whereas, Organ Procurement Agency of Michigan, has delivered an easement to the City for the construction and maintenance of municipally operated public services comprising the public utilities system to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:
40 FOOT WIDE PUBLIC WATERMAIN LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Beginning at the SW corner of Lot 2, "Research Park" a subdivision of part of the SW 1/4 of Section 9, T3S, R6E, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, as recorded in Liber 15 of Plats, Pages 56 and 57, Washtenaw County Records;
thence N 12°26'00" W 138.71 feet along the Westerly line of said Lot 2;
thence N 77°34'00" E 191.20 feet;
thence N 11°07'45" W 9.95 feet;
thence N 78°52'15" E 40.00 feet;
thence S 11°07'45" E 130.81 feet;
