Resolution to Accept an Easement for Public Right-of-Way from Traver Lakes Community Maintenance Association (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
This is the ROW easement for which the Traver Lakes Maintenance Association contributed $56,000.00 for the replacement of an existing asphalt pathway with concrete sidewalk. The Contribution Agreement went to Council for approval on September 20, 2021. This easement is in standard form and is conveyed without cost to the City.
Acceptance of this easement is recommended.

Whereas, Traver Lakes Community Maintenance Association, a Michigan nonprofit corporation, is the owner of property commonly known as Private Commons No. 1 in Traver Lakes Subdivision No. 1, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105, described at Liber 1493, page 643 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and
Whereas, Traver Lakes Community Maintenance Association has signed a grant of easement for public right-of-way as shown on the attached map shown and described on the attached map:
SIDEWALK EASEMENT DESCRIPTION BEGINNING AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE SOUTH LINE OF TRAVER BLVD. AND THE WEST LINE OF NIXON ROAD; THENCE S01°35'54"E 35.00 FEET ALONG THE WEST LINE OF NIXON ROAD; THENCE N57°40'24"W 53.91 FEET TOTHE SOUTH LINE OF TRAVER BLVD.; THENCE N82°07'57"E 45.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. BEING APART OF PRIVATE COMMONS NO. 1 OF TRAVER LAKES SUBDIVISON NO. 1 AS RECORDED IN LIBER 20 OF PLATS PAGES 33-39, OF THE WASHTENAW COUNTY RECORDS, CITY OF ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN.
RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accepts this grant of easement.
