Resolution to Accept a Quitclaim Deed from Mallett’s Wood, L.L.C. for Park Land at Mary Beth Doyle Park (8 Votes Required)


This property is 1.15 acres of land that is part of Mary Beth Doyle Park. This conveyance was intended to take place as part of the development of Mallett’s Wood Condominium. The property was taken over by the City in approximately 2004, but no deed has been found. This deed confirms the transfer.


This quitclaim deed is conveyed without cost to the City. Acceptance of this deed is recommended.

Whereas, Mallett’s Wood, L.L.C., a dissolved Michigan limited liability company through its member The Perkins Construction Company, an assumed name of The Perkins Corporation, a Michigan corporation, has signed a quitclaim deed to the City for property described as:


PART OF NE ¼ SEC 10, T3S, R6E, COM CENT OF SD SEC 10, TH S 89 DEG 57 MIN E 655.9 FT, TH N 1 DEG 31 MIN 50 SEC E 627 FT; TH N 1 DEG 44 MIN E 383.79 FT TO POB, TH CONT N 1 DEG 44 MIN E 276.21 FT; THE S 89 DEG 57 MIN E 175.18 FT, THS 1 DEG 44 MIN W 276.21 FT, TH N 88 DEG 13 MIN 50 SEC W 175.10FT TO POB PER CITY OF ANN ARBOR ASSESSOR RECORDS.  Tax Parcel 09-12-10-103-052.


RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accepts this deed.
