Memorandum
Attached for your review and approval is a resolution for Amendment Number 5 to the Professional Services Agreement with Tetra Tech, Inc. for environmental consulting services for the Ann Arbor Landfill Monitoring and Maintenance Program, through June 30, 2023. The total additional amount requested for FY22 and FY23 is $380,111.00 with a contingency of $40,000.00.

Resolution R-17-255 requested $270,511.00 with a contingency of $27,000.00 for Landfill Monitoring and Maintenance for FY 17 through FY19. Resolution R-19-319 requested $351,124.00 with a contingency of $40,000.00 for Landfill Monitoring and Maintenance for FY 20 through FY21. Resolution R-20-278 requested $124,907.73 for additional repairs and maintenance to the landfill.

The City has partnered with Tetra Tech since 2007, as part of our ongoing Ann Arbor Landfill Monitoring and Maintenance Program. This program provides the City a professional environmental consultant to perform the tasks necessary to satisfy the monitoring requirements of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) for groundwater and gas in the vicinity of the Ann Arbor Landfill.
