Resolution to Increase the Service Purchase Order to Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner (WCWRC) to Fund the Allen Creek Project Plan Amendment ($14,000.00)

In 2008, the WCWRC completed a State Revolving Fund (SRF) Project Plan for the Allen Creek Initiative. This Initiative is a collaborative effort between the WCWRC, the City of Ann Arbor, and the Ann Arbor Public Schools. The Project Plan was used to secure over $5,700,000.00 in low interest loans for stormwater improvement projects at Pioneer High School and along Stadium Boulevard.
On April 15, 2009, a Service Purchase Order was issued to WCWRC to fund an amendment to the Allen Creek SRF Project Plan. This amendment was necessary to apply for a low-interest State Revolving Fund loans and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds in 2010.
The level of effort needed to develop a high quality, competitive Project Plan exceeded original expectations. The attached resolution would approve an additional $14,000.00 to amend the Service Purchase Order for up to $38,000.00 with the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner to complete the Project Plan Amendment.
Funding for this increase is available in FY10 Stormwater System Operations and Maintenance budget.
