Resolution to Direct the City Attorney to Provide Public Information on Public Commentary

Whereas, The Council will be considering possible changing to rules relating to public commentary;
RESOLVED, That the City Attorney provide a public memo on the general issues with respect to public commentary and the Open Meetings Act and the First Amendment; and
RESOLVED, That the City Attorney provide a public memo on the general issue of Council speech inside and outside Council meetings with respect to the OMA and the First Amendment.
