Resolution to Approve the 3411 Geddes Road Annexation, 1.1 Acres (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 6 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this property from the Ann Arbor Charter Township into the City. The property is within the City's water and sewer service area, and the current use is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and master plan. Council action on the proposed R1A (Single-Family Dwelling District) zoning will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of October 6, 2020, recommended approval of the request.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Ann Arbor Charter Township and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, Carol G. Barbour Revocable Trust U/A/D 7-1-1987 is the owner of said property; and
Whereas, It is the desire of Carol G. Barbour Revocable Trust U/A/D 7-1-1987 to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Act 359 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan, as amended;
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Ann Arbor Charter Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:
