Resolution Appointing Remaining Members of R4C and R2A Zoning District Study Advisory Committee
Body
Whereas, On March 2, 2009, City Council directed the City Planning Commission and Planning staff to work with the public to provide the City Council with a report and recommendations for potential ordinance changes to certain residential zoning districts found in the Central Area;
Whereas, On July 6, 2009, City Council directed that an R4C and R2A Zoning District Study (R4C & R2A Study) Advisory Committee be appointed to work closely with City staff throughout the course of the community outreach effort; advising on the outreach strategy, reviewing assumptions and providing feedback at important project milestones;
Whereas, On July 6, 2009 City Council directed that appointments to the R4C & R2A Study Committee be made in the following categories at the first meeting in August:
• City Council Representative (1)
• City Planning Commission Representative (1)
• Rental Property Owner Representative (1)
• Representatives from each Ward (2 from each ward); and
Whereas, On August 6, 2009, City Council appointed members to the R4C & R2A Study Committee in all categories with the exception of the 2 representatives from the 5th Ward and the Rental Property Owner Representative;
RESOLVED, That City Council appoint the remaining members to the R4C & R2A Zoning District Study Advisory Committee:
• Rental Property Owner Representative (1): Chuck Carver
• Representative from the 5th Ward (2): Ethel Potts, Anya Dale
