Memorandum
Attached is a resolution to approve the request from Northern United Brewing Company, LLC (NUBC) for new Small Wine Maker, Micro Brewer, Small Distiller Liquor Licenses with Outdoor Sales, Before/After Hours (for food) Permit and Sunday Sales Permit - D/B/A Jolly Pumpkin, located at 309-311 S. Main. NUBC is applying for a Micro Brewer liquor license which will allow the applicant to brew, sell and serve its own premium beers; a Small Wine Maker liquor license, which will allow the applicant to produce, sell and serve homemade white and red wines, and a Small Distiller liquor license which will allow the applicant to produce, sell and serve vodka, whisky, rum and gin. All production will occur in the basement of the establishment and the distilling equipment will be located in a portion of the second floor in a secured area. NUBC will operate as a restaurant, serving breakfast (pastries and coffee), lunch and dinner.
The Police, Planning and Development, Treasurer, Fire Services and the Council Liquor License Review Committee approved the application. There are no delinquent property taxes, all application fees are paid and there are no objections from City Staff.
