Title

Resolution to Appoint Catherine Riseng and Reappoint Michael Garfield to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission

Body

Whereas, City Council passed Ordinance No. 17-04 on May 3, 2004, creating a Greenbelt Advisory Commission;

Whereas, The Ordinance requires the City Council to nominate and appoint the members of the Greenbelt Advisory Commission for three year terms;

Whereas, There are currently two expiring terms on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission;

Whereas, Michael Garfield has indicated his desire to be re-appointed to the Commission and his qualifications are appropriate; and

Whereas, Catherine Riseng has indicated her desire to fill the vacancy created by the expiring appointment of Sylvia Taylor;

Resolved, That Michael Garfield be re-appointed to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission and Catherine Riseng be appointed to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission, replacing Sylvia Taylor, for three year terms beginning September 21, 2010 through September 21, 2013
