Attached for your review and consideration for approval is a resolution authorizing up to $118,000.00 annually for the purchase of bituminous patching materials from Cadillac Asphalt, LLC.

The bid was advertised on the City's Website and on the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) website. Two (2) bids were received and publicly opened on July 10, 2020. Cadillac Asphalt, LLC was determined to be the lowest responsible bidder for UPM high-performance asphalt cold mix and Durapatch cold applied instant asphalt repair materials.

The recommended purchase order to Cadillac Asphalt, LLC for bituminous patching materials are for normal maintenance activities such as temporary utility trench repair, pothole patching and miscellaneous street repairs.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding is available in the approved FY21 Public Works Operations and Maintenance budgets to be charged as appropriate and will be available in subsequent annual budgets if approved by Council.

Cadillac Asphalt, LLC complies with the City's Non-Discrimination and Living Wage ordinances.
