Whereas, The Washtenaw County Board of Commissions approved a Resolution Declaring Racism as a Public Health Crisis in Washtenaw County on July 1, 2020, and it is attached for reference;

 

Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor supports the resolution approved by Washtenaw County and supports their request for local municipalities throughout the County to adopt similar resolutions thereby recognizing the grave impact that racism has on our residents throughout the County;

 

RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor affirms the Washtenaw County Resolution Declaring Racism as a Public Health Crisis in Washtenaw County.
