The Independent Community Police Oversight Commission (ICPOC) adopted this resolution during the June 16, 2020 ICPOC meeting.
Body
Whereas, Ordinance No ORD-18-30 forming the Independent Community Police Oversight Commission permits Commission updates to City Council; and
Whereas, Current events around the nation have encouraged many people to become involved in police oversight matters and there is a need to update City Council on a regular basis;
RESOLVED, That the Commission requests Council Liaisons CM Jane Lumm and CM Ali Ramlawi work with Interim City Administrator, Tom Crawford and the City Clerk, Jacqueline Beaudry to have ICPOC scheduled for a monthly update on the City Council agenda for the first meeting each month.
